In Which I Finish The Movie

It’s all done. After a marathon weekend spent locked in a fluorescent tomb of humming Apple computers, surrounded by sweaty-fingered SMAD majors clicking away to edit their movie into a magnum opus so brilliant that it makes Citizen Kane look like Ernest Goes to Camp, I can honestly say that I’ve finally turned in my last college assignment ever.

Remember, I’m talking about a movie I made called Donnie Clark After Dark, an epic and timeless legend of Beowulf-ian proportions. It premeires at the campus movie theater this Wednesday. My weather forecast for Wednesday night: it will rain Academy Awards from the sky, like some Biblical plague, only good.

Excuse me, Ernest Goes To Camp REVOLUTIONIZED cinema by fundamentally changing the way we think about the greed and corruption inherent in the coal mining industry, which was, until then, woefully underrepresented in film.

Can’t wait to see the the movie Wednesday!

Congratulations! Lori & I will don our formalwear for the Broad Run Farms screening!

I’m going to have to agree with bush, as surely you meant to write, “edit their movie into a magnum opus so brilliant that it makes Ernest Goes to Camp look like Citizen Kane.” Who the hell is Rosebud, anyway?
