It’s a new year and I’m the same person with the same set of problems and blessings. I’m determined to use one to solve the other.
I rang in January the First with a firecracker of a party on 137th Street. Passed out on a foldable mattress and woke up to discover that there were five other people in the room with me, fellow rats in steerage on a ship headed for the future.
I make a little money as a tutor now, shaping the future minds of America. I encourage my kids to smoke, mock the political process, and slouch. That way you can tell they’re mine.
More soon. Like, tomorrow.
